Remember when we were discussing how the meaning of tablets has changed from written on stone to handheld devices? I wanted to share my reading from Blue Letter Bible, in which Paul defines tablets in another interesting way:
…clearly you are an epistle of Christ, ministered by us, written not with ink but by the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of flesh, [that is], of the heart. 2 Corinthians 3:3
This makes me think about what others are seeing written on my tablet of flesh (brain/heart). Especially outside of church! What does my husband and children see there? I think my tablets need a redo or undo button, oftentimes. Oh, I do hope they see love written there more times than not!
